British Steel Pensions

The first of three sessions (over two days) regarding the British Steel Pension scheme took place at the Princess Theatre Port Talbot on Tuesday, 14th November.

Because the existing scheme cannot be sustained, members are given the option of two new schemes. !. A Protected Pension Scheme (PPS) or 2. A new Trustee Scheme arising from the old one.

Forms regstering the choice should be retuned by 11th December or members will be placed un the PPS Scheme.

The presentation was well presented and was visually better than that at any party political conference.
