What a lovely sight it is to see the Gwyn Hall open to the public again, its new coffee shop in the front offering quite a selection to eat. By the way its open until 9pm in the evening.

The Gwyn Hall is a valued social and cultural centre for the Neath community. Following a fire in 2007, it has undergone complete refurbishment and modernisation and will provide a contemporary and comprehensive service to its audience , while maintaining its original beauty and heritage as one of the county’s most treasured listed buildings.

The brand new venue includes:
* 393 seat capacity auditorium equipped to present the best in arts and entertainment;
* State of the art digital and 3D cinema showing the latest blockbuster movies and arthouse films from around the World;
* Multi functional Studio Theatre, ideal for dance, community workshops, educational activities and small scale performances;
* Café Bar – a perfect space for the public to come and enjoy a range of locally sourced products, soak up the atmosphere, relax and enjoy taster bites from musicians, storytellers and artists.

Neath now has a theatre,
There is a Matinee for the children on Saturday, giving parents a chance for a few hours break.
The first show in the Gwyn Hall was “The Full Monty”

which went down well with the public of Neath and the surrounding disticts.
